From my collection , an
early maximum card. With French stamp overprinted ALGERIE,and First Day of Issue cancel dd 13 June 1955.
It is a full concordance between post card,stamp and postmark
N.B. The F.I.P. Rules for maximum cards were agreed upon only in 1972 !
Until 1963 , France administered the whole Mediterranean region of Algeria as an integral part and département of the nation.
