A ship's cancel from my collection with the following text : DEUTSCH-AMERICANISCHE-SEEPOST / D.EUROPA ( on circumference ), and : BREMEN - NEW YORK / 8.10.32 / NORDDEUTSCHER /LLOYD on the circle centre .
So this maritime cancel was applied on 8 October 1932 by the post office on board German liner ( Dampfschiff ) "EUROPA " whilst the vessel was on voyage from Bremen to New York.

Norddeutscher Lloyd (North German Lloyd ) Liner appears on 1937 Germany stamp ,Scott B115 , 40+ 35 pf

Europa made her maiden voyage to New York on 19 March 1930 taking the westbound Blue Riband from the SS Bremen with the average speed of 27.91 knots and a crossing time of 4 days, 17 hours and 6 minutes.

It is amazing just how many of these different ship post cancellation exist. They are nice clear strikes too.
