Now here are two more pages from my collection.
Still old but less of the classic look.

Closeup of #74, which I believe is an uncatalogued color variant of this nice, commerative Cabot stamp. The shading below "Discover", on the cap, and the face and elsewhere is different.

Then the overprints A-B-C for #75...the latter Type C is often forged (#77), so I got a certificate to make sure. And 76i

Enjoy...Airmails tomorrow...

Very neat thanks Tommy. My used set in xf condition has great eye appeal but not as nice as the mint. The shade difference is interesting.

Is the shade maybe due to a dry vs wet print? Don't know just asking.

My favorite is the 68 with the same ship model as used for the USA Columbian Scott 233 or 234. Engraving I believe also by the ABNCo, but please correct me if I am mistaken. The ship on 68 having thr same faux pas with wind in the sails blowing opposite how the flag is being blown at the mast.

tommy, that 74 looks just about as perfect as they come (from the front anyway). Thanks again for sharing these.

Thanks.

Crouse27--That ship is a favorite of mine too. I never noticed the flag discrepancy.

Also--this one is a derivative of the ship stamp #59 (see my earlier post). Not the same but probably drove this one (i think the flag is correct though)

Yakboomer: the back of 74 is NH and let me know if you want to see it. I'm stumped on the different shading...
