Stamp Insider for July–August 2013



The July–August issue of the Stamp Insider, journal of the Federation of New York Philatelic Societies, is online and available for free download in PDF format or viewing online with page turning.

The lead article by is "New York Advertising Poster Stamps." Author Arthur H. Groten originally wrote the article as a column in the American Stamp Dealer & Collector Magazine (http://www.americanstampdealer.com). Dr.Groten is president of the Postal Label Study Group and Poster Stamp Collectors Club, as well as the editor of their journals. He is also president of the Ephemera Society of America.

Other articles include a short history of the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library on its 20th anniversary, reviews of the iPhilately app and the Vatican Philatelic Society's special journal for its 60th anniversary, and two articles and three columns offering ways to ensure growth and continued health of stamp clubs and shows.
