Here is a postcard, an art type one actually, that has a cancellation on it that seems odd to me because there is a 5th number in the year date? Instead of reading '1926', it reads '19266'
The "extra" figure/letter could indicate a die number/letter ?
The "BRITISH GOODS ARE BEST" slogan was in use from July 1925 and was known to be used up to Jan 1927. Yours is the 1925 type and around 200 dies were used in Hey-Dolphin and Universal machine cancellers.
