Here's an interesting slogan found on a cut square from a Pitney Bowes Postage Meter dating back to January 29, 1941 from Endicott, NY:



A bit of further research reveals that the slogan (or logo) was attributed to the Endicott Johnson Shoe Company, who at one time was said to have been the largest shoe company in America and -- almost single-handedly -- equipped the US Armed Forces in both World War I and World War II:
