Spent 6 hours in the car today driving to and from a stamp show. Found virtually nil for my collection. The revenue pickings were pretty much the worst of any show I've gone to in the last 4 years.
The main reason to go was to see 2 pieces that a dealer was holding for me... and somehow in the last week and a half he managed to lose the better of the two.
Welcome back to the real philatelic world. You think you stay on a roll forever? It's not as if you haven't found a few (thousand) things in the last several months. :-)
You know, you win some, and you lose some. The thing is, if you didn't go, you would be wondering what you missed. Enjoy your time out on the road, and chalk it up to experience!
