WARNING - as of 6:45 Pm September 5th. my virus software shows a trojan virus called JS:Iframe-RB in the "New Canadian Varieties" section of the Canadian Stamp Auctions web site. It is in years 2005 through 2010 and possibly in earlier years as well. 2011 is OK.

I have advised the Canadian Stamp Auctions web site via their "Contact Us" portal and posted this meessage in the Canadian Stamps and Covers and main Stamp Collection forums.

I have been advised by the Canadian Stamp Auctions web site that they will work on the virus problem this weekend. In the interim, I suggest that this site should not be accessed.

Hopefully, the web site will advise me when it has been inspected and cleaned, if necessary, and I will advise this forum a.s.a.p.

Hi

A neat piece of software to install is McAfee "SiteAdvisor". It rates web sites regarding viruses and such.

http://www.siteadvisor.com/

I know it does work with Internet Explorer and Chrome has a facility to use it. I do not know about Firefox or any other browser.

BlackJag, thanks for the heads-up. It may be a bit too late for me, though. I visited the site before your post, and got re-directed to somewhere else. The only saving grace is that I didn't click on the picture/link on that re-directed page. I am just wondering if my iPad would still be infected with that virus?

Are you serious?

Honestly, I would NEVER use that site again. When you own a site and get a virus on it, you drop everything immediately and get on it. They are completely irresponsible.

As of today, the virus still exists.
