Phil, it seems like it's been months since I put my name on the Guatemala list, but I haven't seen anything yet. I know I'm at the bottom of the list, but Come On Man!!!

Phil:

You've pulled the odd stamp out of the APS circuit books for me, in the past years. I sure wish I could receive them, but you know what Revenue Canada can be like. Sounds like there are lots of good deals to be had in those little books!

The APS circuits are pretty slow to cycle around. I am on three:
US 19th century
US Covers (19th century)
US Revenues
I received each of them only 2-3 times this year.

I requested these a few months ago but I'm still waiting.
US Officials
US Fancy Cancels

I suspect that some members are keeping them longer than the recommended one week.
When you get your circuit box please try to pass them along to the next member as soon as you can. It increases throughput which is good for everyone: buyers, sellers, and the APS.

Here is the complete list of APS circuits in case you are not a member and want to see what you are missing!

t360:

Those circuit books you've asked for are some of the more popular topics... so there are more people looking at the books, and less material available. I suspect that is why you only see them 2-3 times per year.

Since it takes so long to get into the circuit. Maybe I should get on a list. How much is it on average to forward along the books to the next recipient?

I usually put on about $4.20 in commemorative stamps before I take it down to the post office.
Then they add another dollar or two with a meter. So about 6 dollars.

Thanks t360. That is helpful. I wasn't sure since we are to also insure the package and maybe have a delivery confirmation or tracking. It has been a little while since I read the rules of subscribing to a circuit.

You don't need to buy the post office insurance anymore. Just get "signature confirmation."
