When using the USPS.com zip code look up service I cannot find the zip code for University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Nebraska Hall, 900 North 16th Street, Lincoln, NE., which is a legitimate address. Help

According to this, it's 68588. Unless you're sending to that exact room, though, I'd leave off the +4. ;) No idea why that address doesn't come up, though.

Hrmm, Googling "900 N 16th St" + Lincoln NE brings up several results that indicate 68508 as the zip. :/

68588 is the main ZIP Code for the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. 68508 seems to be the ZIP Code for various rooms/units/labs/suites at UNL at 900 N. 16 St. A Google maps search confirms the address and ZIP Code as:

900 N 16 St.
Lincoln, NE 68508

My guess is that the mail stop or delivery of mail to that location is at one place and the University takes on the responsibility of getting the mail to the individual people located on campus.

A Google search suggests that 900 N 16 St is a 300,000+ square foot building, ranging in ZIP Codes from 68502 to 68510, so further address details must be needed for a "legal" address according to the USPS computers.

That said, neither UNL nor Lincoln are terribly big. If you're sending to a UNL building, I'd probably go with 68588. They'll more than likely get it to where you need it to go. ;)

Edited to fix grammar. :P
