OTTAWA — Criminals are using the Canadian postal system to transport illicit goods including guns, grenades, dangerous chemicals and, in one case, even a rocket launcher, says a newly declassified RCMP report.

Counterfeit items — from fake Olympic hockey sweaters to bogus passports — as well as drugs such as cocaine and heroin are also arriving in the country through Canada Post, says the criminal intelligence report.

How old is the report? Typically government documents become 'declassified' after many years from their initial creation.
