Hello everyone:

I have a few pages of Chinese stamps in my world album. I know that the market for Chinese stamps is "hot" at the moment and I thought that perhaps I had some value in my collection.

I was wondering if anybody out there can help give a rough estimate of what I could get for all of these stamps as-is on ebay for example. Do you see any gems? Thank you!

It would help if you posted closer scans of your stamps as there is little detail to be seen if you post large numbers in a scan. Some of your mint stamps might each be worth several tens of pounds (UK). Other values and ID would depend on a closer scrutiny as there are several printings of some stamps. The overprinted stamps could also be worth investigating as there are regional variations which depend on just one different Chinese character within the overprint and values can depend on that too.
I think most China collectors would have an interest as your stamps are very clean and look good... despite the mint ones being hinged which would affect value.

Many early P.R.C. stamps have been reprinted. An example is the two Mao & flag stamps on your second page. Reprints are much less valuable than originals.
