Thanks for putting up with me folks.
So I have decided on the generic quadrille pages and black split back mounts.
Now I need a 3 ring binder.
Any advice you can give would be great.

If you go to ebay search for Lighthouse binder. You can get a similar but larger binder than mystic's at the same or less price . Look for seller Mit_63 Storeook. About $ 61.00 for two shipped . ( Vario G)

I love the lighthouse binders & slipcases but any good quality 3-ring binder should do you fine. I just prefer the slipcases for them mainly because of dust and my Dalmatian (the tend to shed in the fall...and the spring...and the summer..apparently)-lol

I just bought a 1" binder from Amazon and I was really surprised at the quality.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...8XWZACUOE83Z

It is not real leather as per the product title but it really does look and feel like real leather. And the D-rings are mounted to the back cover. Very solid feel to it too.

I just moved my Overrun Countries collection mounted on quadrille pages to this new binder and they now have 'breathing' space. I am very happy with it and plan to get a few more.

At $10 each (the 1.5" is $12) I think they are a steal even with the $5 shipping. Definitely worth a look.

I keep my Steiner (Stamp Album Web) pages in Vario G binders. Love 'em!

You can also get 3 set instead of the 5 set or singles. They also have a smaller size.

Regards,
Len

Ditto what Len said. They are beautiful, nicely sized and hardy.

I finally broke down and ordered some new ones. I was really, really wanting the slip cases. Only ordered the set of 3 Lighthouse Vario F so far. The specs say 2 1/4 inch wide while the ones I had been using were 2 inch. My Heirloom is now taking 7 of those so I'll need to pick up more once I see how nice these really are. Which will probably be the day they get here :)

Fastest shipping I've ever seen on ebay. I ordered those yesterday morning around 8 AM. They arrived this morning via FedEx Home Delivery (ground) around 10AM. Unbelievable. The seller is in New Jersey and I'm in Massachusetts.

And these binders are beautiful!
