I have inherited an extensive U.S. and World Wide collection. It was my Grandfather's and his brother's collection and has been in storage since 1940. They were merchant marines and lived for many years outside of the U.S.
I have been organizing the stamps for the last few years and I think I may have found a many good ones but wanted some opinions of a few of before I send them off for certification (I don't want to lose the money if they are fake).
Sooooo, what are your opinions?

First picture is the Inverted Four Anna and the second picture is of the water mark of the paper. Now I have read that there are numerous fakes of this stamp so what do you think? I did not even notice the invert for a few years as it was combined with several regular Four Anna stamps.

This stamp is from Tibet and has a misspelling on one stamp that says "POTSAGE" instead of "POSTAGE" Real or Fake?

This next stamp was marked as a Scott #66a plate 2 on bluish paper

The next stamp was marked as a Scott#57 plate 2

This stamp was marked as a Scott #108a on blued paper

Save your money on the India: it's a crude fake. I'm fairly sure the Tibet are also fakes; there are more fakes of these issues than genuine items in circulation.

The stamps you identify as Scott 66a (2˝d) and 57 (5s) look very faded. If that is the case, I would also save my money on those. The final one has faulty perforations on the right-hand side, a crease or smudge across the stamp and an untidy cancellation. If it is the "blued paper" variety, it may have some value, but it is far from a fine condition stamp.

Done it myself. On the other hand, these revived threads can spark new exchanges.
