I am not sure if you have noticed, now you cant see the details of a feedback of a certain seller. For example, if you click on this feedback you will only see the anonymous buyer (a**e(211))and without seeing the item too. Before, we were able to see who are the buyers and what item they bought.
I have mixed feelings about this change. On the one hand it makes running down the 'bad' guys and their activities more difficult. But on the other hand what each of us buys should be our own business; I am not comfortable with allowing anyone to see my buying history. For example - if I buy large amounts of high dollar items all a 'bad' guy would have to do is a single piece of business with me to find out who I am and perhaps even where I live. My gut feeling is that what other people purchase is personal data that should be only shared with Their approval. don
I am not keen on buyer having the right to retain their anonymity after they have left negative/positive feedback after purchase. I feel it is helpful to other buyers/sellers to know with whom they are dealing. Some feedback left is either trivial or unnecessarily picky.
I had a buyer with just about no feedback score buy 15 stamps out of a string of single stamps that were described as used. Three stamps of the 67 listings were described as having rounded corner but no other grading was mentioned. The listing price was very cheapish. All stamps had great images as part of the listings. All backs of the stamps were perfect condition.
This person phoned me without my permission or consent. The phone call was about what he was going to do to me in my feedback if I did not sell him the stamps he wanted at the price he demanded.
Then the feedback came in and he grades all the stamps as the feedback!
After reading his reply's I checked to find he had no outstanding feedbacks to give me so I blocked him big time.
Total fruit loops can be very dangerous power trippers.
