I came across this quite by accident when surfing the internet. It's certainly a look back into yesteryear and is quite amazing to realize what the US Post Office Department was willing to deliver back in the day. (Too bad they didn't indicate the total postage paid for the delivery):

That would be by the...board foot!

Instead of first class it could have been...first and seconds class. (That's a lumber inside...)
