Switzerland Frame Around The Cross?

I'm not sure what Scott's means by "frame around the cross". I always assumed these faulty old guys are the more common #7 and #8. I haven't pulled them out in awhile. Took some digging to find em lol. That's another topic for another day. Anyway I've never seen a comparison of framed versus unframed. Anyone?
When I first found them I thought the black line around the red shield was the "frame" but that seems to simple and well, I never assume a stamp is a rarer version. I've learned that I often see what I whant to see......

It's the black lines around the actual cross not the shield

Left - No Frame, Right - Frame. Easy-Peasy

Yessss, thank you. Of course that would be the frame around the "cross". I quess I over thought the word frame. And my scott catalogue doesn't have a decent image of either. Thanks again.
