See also two posts earlier. What the stock images do not show, is the printing on the backs of these stamps. The watermarks appear on the stamps from counter sheets and from prestige stamp books.
The accompanying Collectors' Sheet goes just that small step beyond where the counter sheets go. These self-adhesives, however, do not have a watermark printed on the back. (Unfortunately, the image optimisers makes a mess of the sheet.)
To mark the "Stamp Day", Austria issued on December 3, 2025 a commemorative postmark feature a 1867 Austrian Hermes (Mercury stamp). Here are the postmark and the original 1867 stamp.
A very attractive set of ten stamps celebrating philately was issued by the Kingdom of Yemen in 1968. Here is the first part.

To publicize the international stamp exhibition "Malpex '97", held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia issued on September 9, 1997 a souvenir sheet entitled "The 50th Anniversary of Organized Philately". It contains 4 stamps depict Malaysian former stamps and philatelic items.
1952 Pakistani stamp features the 'Scinde Dawk' of 1852, one of the first postage stamps issued in Asia. The original Scinde Dawk stamps were used to seal the envelope, and were torn to open the letter which is why so few survive today. These round stamps featured the East India Company emblem - which feature in the upper left hand of the 1952 stamp. Picture from a stamp in my personal collection.
