Hi..Take a look at this cut out of cancellation from 1959..Why wouldn't Canada Post just stamp it as 6 cents rather than a 2 cent and a 4 cent stamp..??..Doesn't make sense to me..what is the reason for it if anyone knows..Thanks.

That particular machine only had fixed dies and a 6 cent die probably wasn't availible.
