Wellp, I decided to try out another stamp forum, which shall remain nameless.

After 2 days, I have just about decided not to go back there.

I don't see many interesting topics, there is a decided anti-American feeling, and the admin seems to allow all sorts of feeling-hating stuff. It doesn't seem very "family friendly".

SO, I therefore THANK SCF.

People here are (generally) nice. I like to think that the admin folks would step in if people really crossed the line. And while I don't always get answers to my questions here, I don't feel like I am going to get berated for asking something.

Sounds as if you might have taken a trip down under, but maybe not, since I've gotten some good help, there, in the past but haven't been doing much with any boards, for a while.

As a long-time member, I'll have to say that this board started to lose the friendly interplay it once had, as it began to grow. Some of that was still found in the old buy-sell-trade forums but they're gone, as well as many of the regular participants who seemd to do the bulk of the buying-selling-trading there.

Sorry to hear that Nells, it really is a wealth of Philatelic information there.

Was thinking the same thing. I don't visit there any more for the exact reasons listed above, plus many others.
