I've enjoyed the work that Cynthia Scott has done over the years. If you're interested you can visit her website for any questions including ordering http://www.anonemousecachets.com/

I hope its OK that I re-opened this thread...

Is there a tutorial available anywhere on the web on how to print a cachet onto an envelope that includes the basics, like how to get the cachet on the right place on the envelope in the right size, and how to feed the envelope into the printer so the cachet goes where its supposed to?

I'm just looking for meat and potatoes information because I'm thinking of wading in and designing some of my own. For example, I just had one of the recently issue U.S. Global International stamps picturing a chrysanthemum tied to an envelope by my local P.O. (a nice red double circle) on its first day (obviously unofficial) and would like to add a cachet to it.

For this you may need to utilize some software such as Adobe Illustrator or InDesign.

I did some composition work using those platforms, and I think that may be your best bet.

Before you start, you select the canvas size. That canvas size be your envelope size, and from there on you just carry on with your design

Now that you got me thinking, I will give it a try tommorow and play with the parameters. Will update you
