Hello, I have a stamp that has yellow discoloration on the end
and the back is solid yellow...
anyone knows what causes this.

Without seeing a scan of the stamp I can't tell for sure, but a very common problem is when someone tries to soak off a stamp like this from a manila envelope or even a greeting card envelope that has a yellowish tint. The color of the envelope bleeds and discolors the stamp, rendering it virtually valueless except perhaps as a fill-in until a better specimen can be found.
