COINWATCHER...Sorry..I don't see any re-entry indications at all..I see a lot of heavy ink smudges...But, I will let better experts than me give you their opinion. |

The mark on the "9" looks more like a foreign object (piece of lint) on the plate that printed the squiggly line on the stamp. I don't see anything in the other photo that resembles a re-entry of any prominence. To prove the re-entry, you should try to get hold of (or at least an image of) a full sheet of the stamps and confirm that it is a recurring flaw. |

I doubt very much that it will be listed as 10K. More likely to be listed as a minor re-entry, if this is one?
Sorry, but, I can't pick out the re-entry that clearly.

Sorry Coinwatcher, but even if it WAS a major re-entry it would not be worth even close to 10k. |

I would agree with the other productive comments, it appears more like heavy ink and a foreign object on the 9 causing an ink smudge. Definitely not a major re-entry I'm afraid, but absolutely a beautiful stamp :)

A re-entry is quite distinctive and the more you look at genuine ones, the better you will get at recognizing them.
This is not a re-entry, and I agree that the marks around the "9" are the result of a foreign body (lint).
However, just keep examining stamps this close up and you're bound to find one (a re-entry that is).

$10,000 is the OP's favorite number. He has been frequenting the coin forum and has some $30 mint coins listed on ebay for $10,000 with apparent errors that no one else can see. My guess is that you will see his stamps listed at that price as well soon http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...IC_ID=164666 |

I don't have an opinion because I don't know what a re-entry is. Could some of these knowledgeable philatelist please explain. A picture showing a re-entry would help. |

Your Unitrade catalogue (if you have one) also explains re-entries. That website is cool, thx. |
