LONDONBUS -----I just went back to read the original posting here ,the subject was about keeping those collectors who have been here a long time and have shown a lot of philatelic experience from getting bored with the steady and daily postings of "what is it worth" and "how do I sell it ".The direction this discussion took is up to each poster and not something that I or anyone else controlled .I must say I also enjoy reading those comments as other have stated here .

Sorry floortrader, I really only read the title of the thread, the original post was much to long and boring.
Only kidding....... It's just ebb and flow. From a new perspective (mine) I'm loving this site. I think it has a great mix. If it was just the same old experts talking over peoples heads the place would be covered in cobwebs by now. Carefull that you don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
What are we discussing now exactly? I did leave an earlier comment, which no one picked up on, so I admit I will repeat myself. For those who consider the forum boring (which I don't), perhaps they can challenge themselves to post discussions and topics that will draw people in. Just a thought. I admit I had one I was going to post, forgot to, then got very busy and went away for a couple days .. it'll come to me, but till then, perhaps someone else can pick up the ball.
I admit that I don't post as much as I probably should but that's because there's usually nothing going on and in those instances that I have posted a topic, it gets very little traffic and very few responses, which is disappointing. As much as we can say we should post more and do more, it only really works if lots of people are willing to do the same thing, otherwise we're just talking to ourselves.
