That is an Philatelic Exhibition Card printed by CBNC
for the Toronto Stamp Exibit CAPEX78.

They were sold together with examples from the other printers used at that time by
Canada Post, BABN and Ashton Potter.

Sold at the door for $10.

Value? I saw them listed in Unitrade once for $50

All I can tell you I bought three at the show
and that 10 bucks bought you at least 5 or 6 times what
you would be able to purchase now.

Perhaps I wasn't clear.

All three together in one envelope sold for $10,
not each.

Looks like you switched pics.

Now you have a pic of the BABN card.

Are you going to show the AP one too?

These are very inexpensive and readily available. There is also a miniature sheet of postage stamps issued by Canada Post as well and those can be had for face value or less. Here is a link to an ebay auction offering everything including the cards, a FDC, and a mint miniature sheet of the postage stamps. The lot did not get any bids on an asking starting bid of $9.99 Canadian.

This is a perfect example of how lousy an "investment"
in stamps really is.
Especially Canadian material. There was too much
produced, everybody bought tons of the stuff and now
all of it is being dumped on the market.

If I would have spent my 30 bucks back in 78 and bought
Peoples Rep of China stamps isued during the cultural
revolution I would be rich.

But who knew.

If I could do it all over again then maybe I would pic areas
in philately where few ventured.
Or buy quality, not quantity.

BTW this should be moved from The US cover section to the
Canadian one.

Is there a moderator in the house?
