I really am not sure if this is an ink pull or re-entry. I want to believe re-entry but is a tricky one. Opinions please.

One thing any collector has to realize is, when the stamps were being printed, there is the usual wear and tear of the dies. After considerable use, some of the engraved portions can possibly get clogged up with ink and leave 'heavier' looking areas on a stamp.

Every now and then, dies would have to be cleaned so that the printed results would look sharper, but, this was not always done.

These stamps with the heavier portions are really no more than oddities, and, not varieties and, will NEVER see a spot in the Unitrade Catalogue.
