Almost anyone will know one of these famous Scots. They can take any kind of weather except warm and dry, so they'l probably vote for separation. (Nice idea for a thread right now, Cursus.)

If you thought the Highland cow was kind of special, then you haven't seen some of the more exotic wildlife of Scotland, but surely you've heard of them.

I haven't seen these very popular Scottish bridges: the Forth Road Bridge and the Forth Railway Bridge (on the background of the first stamp), close to Edimburgh. Already 50 years old!

Here are a few more Scots that we have all met at one point or another. Good luck to all Scots, no matter how today's vote turns out!

Good Morning, Well, it looks like this lovely lady and her family won't need to apply for a visa to visit their summer cottage in the highlands after all!

They wouldn't anyway, as the independent Scotland would have kept the monarchy and the Queen; who's, after all, the daughter of a Scotish lady.

Hi Cursus, Was the Queen Mum born in Scotland, there seems to be some doubt about exactly where she was born. But she did spend her childhood there at Glamis, a fantastic place to visit although one can only walk about in the gorgeous park areas. By the way, in news reports I have picked up that only people with permanent residence in Scotland were allowed to vote, including foreigners living there.
