I did not think that the personalized label could come on the left side also. I suppose it depends on how you separate them from the pane.
Are some actually narrower than others? Another thing I didn't know.
Thanks for showing John.

Hi Doug! Posted this lot of personalised stamps for yourself mostly. Have been meaning to do it for some time now.
Some years ago you could get them but now they are like rocking horse manure. I have not seen any for sale for a long time now.
Yes they came in 2 tab sizes but somebody might know more. The one with the image on the wrong side would leave one stamp with two tabs and one stamp with none?
These are the type of stamps I buy instantly. Just love collecting personalised stamps with a personal image on the tab.
Thanks for your interest! John. |

Here is the web site link for Australia Post Personalized stamps, or pstamps as they call them. edit: good if I remember the link: http://pstamps.auspost.com.au/index_wf.htmlI wonder in they are self adhesive these days? 60 cent stamps are now used for domestic postage in 2011. I have emailed them and asked. |

Hi Doug. I had forgotten about the name Pstamps.
Read a story recently about a chap at a stamp show and he went up to the Australia Post Personalised stamp stand and asked if he could have a picture image on the tab. The Australia Post worker said that the chair is set up so we can take an image of people in the flesh, I do not......Wait a minute. And he arranged the image onto the chair and took a picture of it and all worked out very well. With the customer saying he is the first person to have a personalised stamp done this way.
Now I believe that all you have to do is send in the image you want and presto it is done.
Always Happy Stamping. John. |

Now that would make me buy on ebay. After sorting 50kgs and not one stamp with a image on the tab. It might be worth doing 20 different but the cost is for 10 stamps at a time. |

Can see that the 50c presents, 50c roo, 55c rose are self adhesives. So that would have to mean the tab is an imperf to the stamp.
The rest are the gummed type.
I must be 5 years plus out of date when it comes to the how of personalised stamps.
Thanks for an image of the recent issues. |

I have had a good look at Australia Post Personalised Stamps. Have found 5x60c stamps different that I like. Minimum cost is $24 per 20x60c stamps.
Could not find the Globe and map of Australia or roos in the bigger square format. Maybe the 55c era and the 60c era have stopped these stamps I talk of.
I recon that these stamps will be impossible for most people to take off paper because they are all self adhesive stamps in the 60c choices.
Now to contact Australia Post with a heap of questions. Talk to my wife about our favorite images.
$24 every 2 months would do it. |

Here is a 2011 60c one I found. I have darkened the photo a few times to bring up the die-cut edges but I do not see any die cut between the tab and the stamp. Is the new version all together as one stamp now? The seller had a sheet up also which I will post tomorrow, late now. When you said the tab is imperf with the stamp did you mean it was attached to the stamp, the stamp and tab being one piece? Or just cut or die cut straight between, two separate pieces of paper? |

Yes it is very later for you over there.
I saw that wattle choice and was impressed.
When I said imperf, I meant the tab connected to the stamp with no perfs or die cuts. |

Straight out of the Special Stamp collection. Beautiful Canada personalised stamps and so different to the Aussie ones. Is there no other country with personalised stamps? |
