Here a nice stamp from Belgian Congo with a elephant draught a cart

Is this a African elephant?

Hi Rolle,

It is an African Elephant, they have big ears which reach over the neck. The Asian or Indian Elephant has much smaller ears. There are other differences but the ears are the most obvious. Nice stamp.

I have never heart that the Africans have those as domestic animal..They shoot them!
