Is anyone using or familiar with these:

http://www.jaysmith.com/Albums/Sten...-Albums.html

Jay Smith is the US agent- they are a nice product but I am a little puzzled. I can only find his site when Googling for more information on them. Most European album publishers have a site that tells you about the company, etc. I draw a blank when looking. They are supposed to be a leading album publisher for this area you'd think they'd have more of a web presence besides the site of their US agent.

Hi Stamps1962! I am a bit puzzled also! Jay Smith seems to have a great website. If you need more info about these albums send them an inquiry!
By the way, the albums look great!

Peter

Yes his site is great and no criticism of his company was intended. I am reluctant to ask him because he'd possibly think I was trying to shop around on him - I bought one of these recently.

I tried goggling and the only sites I come up with are his. I'm just curious about who makes them, the company and so on. You can look all that up for companies like Lighthouse, etc but not for Stender. Wouldn't you think that the apparent leading album publisher for Scandinavia would have a website? Strange..

The Stender albums are nice, I have a pair for my Norway collection.

They use two round posts, which can be a pain to deal with if you want to insert a page anywhere in the middle of the album.

I have purchased several items from Jay Smith & Assoc over the past 40 years and found them very helpful and honest.

Being Danish, I know Stender albums very well.

I do not find them particularly nice, but to each his own I guess.

Most Danes use Lighthouse for generic country albums.

If you want to use Stender, you can buy them cheap at Danish auctions
