I have not yet seen anything like this one. There is no marking that would identify the country. I am thinking it is some sort of promotional stamp and not a postage stamp. Maybe someone will come along with more info.

It's a seal - not even a poster stamp I don't think. Look for a currency number on postage stamps, and look for a message on poster stamps. If I had to guess I'd say this was a sticker issued by a book store chain that you put in a booklet to acquire points for redemption.

floortrader, being a tall looking book it reminds me more of a Torah.

Hi

Maybe it is from a child's play-set. Based on the imperf left side it probably is from a sheet of these stamps.

It may be a college stamp. Can some check the Springer Catalogues for it?

It could be a type of booklet stamp because of the straight edges. Checking the perforation measurements can sometimes give a clue as to its printer.

I don't have an i.d. for this, but I'd be leaning toward a Sunday School attendance stamp. It looks like a Bible to me, too.

The initials do not leap off the page at me, though.
