Have any of you noticed an uptick in the use of philately for fashion?

I think most of us have noticed the clothing line "Aeropostale", but in the past year I have also noticed the use of philately in wall hangings, foot lockers, stationary boxes, gift bags, towels, and so on.

My sister-in-law redecorated her living room with fantastic framed posters of simple post cards and philatelic cachets last year - all of which are commercially available in the picture section of just about every store I have looked in.

Does anyone plan to jump on the bandwagon? My girlfriend bought me a couple of these pictures for my birthday and I love them!

I'd love to see your philatelic fashion statements!

Brian

:) Yesterday, I saw a lamp shade at an antique store with some 50's kiloware glued onto it. Some even still had the paper still on them.

I laughed at it but didn't go close enough to see what the price was.

Made me think of the time I saw wicker suitcase with the Judy Garland stamp with a first day of issue on it.
