Exactly how it came out of my mailbox today. Must have spent some time folded over the top but I wonder how long it traveled like this:

Must have traveled like that for 48 hours or less. The postmark reads February 3 and today, of course, is February 5, 2014. I can see the stamp being folded over during the mailing process, but I'm surprised it didn't stick to other mail pieces resulting in a delivery delay.

Incidentally, I wonder how long the USPS in New York is going to use the "Happy Holidays" postmark now that we're this many weeks past Hanukkah/Christmas/Kwanzaa, etc.

And perhaps more importantly, what is the medical diagnosis of the sender?

Experiments proved that post it notes stay put so why not a misplaced stamp? The experiments were authorized and were instigated by mass mailers to prove their latest (at that time) advertising gimmick would work.
