Barney Miller TV Series: Mailman Doesn't Deliver The Mail

I thought I'd try and post this excerpt from the old 1980 TV Comedy Series "Barney Miller". As you can see, the premise is that a mailman is arrested when they found bags of undelivered mail in his apartment.

In that similar incidents have occurred recently in real life (mailmen not delivering the mail), I thought it was an interesting re-run. In fact, considering the date of this episode is some 34 years old (1980) some of the comical comments made about the post office and mail delivery are actually quite prophetic given the state of the USPS problems of today.

Yes Jeff, just heard about another the other day on the news. Not sure where though but it was in the US
