Does the Michel USA Specialized catalogue have very vital information that the publishers deemed that an English translated edition had to be produced back then?

I guess it was just an experiment to see how US markets would react to it. These days Michel has a range of other catalogs in English, and they just released a bi-lingual (in German and French) specialized catalog for Luxemburg. So they are actively seeking new markets beyond the traditional German speaking audience.

As far as the contents go, it's precisely the level you can expect from specialized Michel catalog. Can't get much better.
