Looking for anyone that may know about his auctions. Googled him and found a book on Amazon that may have a relation but not willing to pay $12 bucks if someone has some info. Bought a Scott #2 cover that has his index card and has some unique characteristics and would like to see how he had it advertised back whenever. Too vague? Willing to part with more info. Thanks.

John A Fox was well known for forging philatelic material.

Edited to mention that any cover that came from him is basically worthless without a good cert, the truth is there's a VERY good chance it's a fake. If so, I strongly suggest donating it to the SCRAP program for a tax write off.
