Is there enough difference between the Rose Red version and the Carmine Rose version that anyone might identify which this is.

I will be happy to provide you with the most un-helful answer of the day - I am color blind and can't help :)

In reality, the consensus is that determining colors from a digital scan is tricky and not always accurate. Unless you had two different colored blocks pictured next to each other, you are unlikely to get an answer.

Perhaps someone out there can provide a link to a website with scans of the color varieties?

agree with Rileysan , you need both in one scan to judge color of a scan. Let me go find the stamps .

Yea, color is the thing that trips me up. I can measure perfs, image size, even ID paper type etc., but colors..#%^..
I assume with this block, as with everything I own, that it's the common version but.......
