If I have posted this earlier, sorry for the duplication. Here is a PANAMA 1929 Official Enelope (H&G #C3), used from 1931. Enjoy. |

Here is a Great Britain F-G- 31 aerogramme. What makes it "rarer" is the type "B" marking on the rear with "it will be" in the text. Issued in 1965. |

Hi PoStat4evR,
Is that a private cachet that has been applied to the aerogramme? |

I am not sure on the added cancel. That is the way I found it in the stack of GB areogrammes I was looking through. Maybe someone else may know something about it. |

nigelc: My expert sources say that this is a cachet is a known cachet, applied by a private printer. He mentioned that it is seldom seen, but has been reported a few times. Beyond that he did now say any data about it. |

Quote: ... France (La Poste) ... 5 envelopes from a set (of 5) issued to use old designs of French stamps on current postal media ... Very pretty (to be expected) but they appear not only non-denominated, but without indication of service class, etc. Typical? Unusual? Cheers, /s/ ikeyPikey |

IkeyPikey: It states on the back that they are good for up to "something" grams worth of postage. If you want I can scan a rear of one of them when I get home tonight |

I was trying to figure out the year on the CDS for those Cuban covers -- 1974? So there was no embargo on mail between the U.S. and Cuba, apparently. |
