Guess it's time to throw another couple U.S. pieces on this thread. Here is U348, the 1-cent envelope from the 1893 Columbian World's Fair series, and another 1-cent cover, U379. This cancellation has no date slug in the center, which I believe indicates it went at the 3rd class rate.

So there was no embargo on mail between the U.S. and Cuba

Good question, here's what I found.

Direct postal service between Cuba and the U.S. was suspended at the height of the Cold War, meaning mail was re-routed through other countries - usually Mexico or Canada.

PoStat4evR - Your copy of copy of Michel # P125A in https://goscf.com/t/36613&whichpage=29#411755 is addressed to Prague, Czechoslovakia, which accounts for the extra stamps.

Came across a pile of these Portugese Military Aerogrammes. Here are a few that may interest the group...
#1 postmarked 1967 from Lisboa PO

#2 Postmarked in 1961 from Mocambique to Lisbon

#3 Postmarked in 1961 from Postugese Guinea to Lisbon

#4. Another from Portugese Guinea to RAC2 in Portugal. Postmarked 1962

#5. Postmarked from Angola to Lisbon. 1963

6. Finally, Postmarked from "EPM 6" which was Angola to Mozambique. 1963

Interesting items. I do not have a catalog on these, but one is available on special order from the author via the internet.
I can only assume that the green cards were the earlier versions, and they transformed into yellow ones as the time went on, or not.
These cards (from what I can determine) were in existance from 1961 to 1971 and were used at Portugese military installations around the world.
If any of you have any more information let me know, as there are a bunch of different "types" on these aerogrammes.
If anyone knows of a list that defines the camp numbers please let me know.
Enjoy.

Picked up a nice little postal card today from a seldom seen country: the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Can anyone give this a specific year of issue?

I haven't added anything for a while, so here goes.....
The first 3 items are Australian Aerogrammes (hope I am not repeating myself):

The first is a 1952 issue (H&G F-G-5)

The second is a 1959 issue (H&G F-G-10)

The third is a 1963 issue (H&G F-G-19)

The next 3 are British commonwealth items:
First Bermuda registration envlope (H&G C-1, issued 1892)

Next, British Guiana Registered Envelope (H&G # C-1 issued 1881)

Lastly, Cape of Good Hope postal card (H&G #10a, issued 1897)

If you want more, just ask.....
