Hi - after many years of buying Kiloware I keep on coming back to Mission mixes from Ireland. It will allow me to fill some holes in my albums but will also pay for itself when I sell off duplicates on ebay. I have tried the same with the US and other countries but not with the same success I have with Ireland. Does anyone else have similar experiences with other countries?

Paul

I've also noticed that Irish stamps seem to sell well. Recent US commemoratives - not a mission mix full of flag stamps, mind you, but recent, self adhesive commemoratives - sell for a lot these days. I've personally sold a lot that brought close to half face value and I've seen others approach face value. I haven't had much luck selling recent stamps from other countries, other than in general worldwide mixes at about 2 cents apiece. When I look at large mixtures, they always seem to contain mostly stamps I already have, so I take a pass and start searching for smaller sets, which I think is probably what most people do.

Depends on the cancels and condition, as per usual.

You can edit you post and change the title that way if necessary, icon that looks like a pencil and paper, after you sign in. Caught my eye anyway, good advertising!

It's amazing that spell checking works so well until you miss spell a word with another valid word!

Thanks for catching the mistake

Probably why it didn't suggest 'misspell'. Good one to get wrong, that. Welcome aboard.

Terry

Edit for typo. TC.
