I am looking for on paper, particularly British Commonwealth. I see small and medium lots on ebay but was thinking those are probably more picked over.
Where are you buying from?
Anyone tried any ebay lots that they care to comment on?

Thank you in advance for your assistance. :)

Probably ebay is as close as you will get. I haven't saw any in a long time.

The local auction I just attended had 3 HUGE lots go for dirt cheap, like $5 for a huge bag full.

Most of the kiloware I have bought in recent years has come from ebay, although not always "directly."

Sometimes I'll buy something from an ebay seller and they'll include a pricelist of items they have "in stock" and then I order from there. Until a few years ago, I ordered from a guy online who ONLY sold kiloware from every corner of the world... but he's no longer in business-- I think it got too hard for him to find new stamps on paper, in any quantity.

Love reading the kiloware section. We all must be crazy. Anyway stamps are an addiction I don't know why we must have 500 of each stamp! Linn's is a great place to get stamps, the sellers in the classifieds are very good. Digital subscription is very reasonable.

Kiloware best bought by being present at auctions as shipping hugely expensive.I put lots on ebay from time to time but if I'm selling a couple of kilos I have to ask for Big Bucks shipping.

I've used ebay for both buying and selling. I usually start off with small lots until I get to know the seller in question. However, it seems that I'll find a good seller, but eventually they disappear from the site and I'm trying out someone new.

There was this guy that I knew who used to buy kiloware from some other guy who used to buy it from someone else. One day he found the name of the person who his seller got it from in the kiloware as an address on a cut letter and he went directly to this person to buy it from so that he cut out the middleman. This guy was an interesting character. He told me that when he bought kiloware, he would make sure that the stamps had only single paper behind them so that he wasn't paying for the extra paper by weight or he told the seller about it to get a discount. However, when he sold kiloware that he got himself from mail, he would leave it double backed instead of single to increase the weight.
