Hello All,
Does anyone know the first day of issue for Czechoslovakia B133-B136? Scott doesn't list it, but I have the cover below dated October 28, 1923. Just checking to see if it a FDC or not.
Thanks,
Will

It looks like the postmark is 28 X 23, i.e. 28 October 1923. That is the first day for this issue.

Interesting how that second postmark just ends like that.

Whoever canceled it probably laid a piece a paper over the far right stamp before applying the second postmark to prevent overlapping postmarks.

I agree, that's probably what happened. But why not cancel the last two stamps like the first two?

It might have been an afterthought. I've watched clerks cancel my own mail and sometimes there's no rhyme nor reason. It's common for me to point out they missed a stamp or two in the middle. It might have happened in this case - cancel the right stamp than the left two, but oops - one in the middle didn't get the cancel.
