Almach,

I mean no disrespect, but I am genuinely confused. You labeled this thread "Fancy Cancels" when you started it, and since then have shown us dozens of examples of cancelled stamps, one to a post, with minimal write-ups. Only a few of these would qualify as true "fancy cancels" with most being common corks, third class mail, or townmarks. I am not alone in making that observation here, which prompts a question.

What is your understanding of what constitutes a "fancy cancel" and which of all these do you truly consider to be that? You haven't said, as far as I can tell.

I apologize for any confusion that I caused. When at stamp shows, I look through the boxes, binders, etc that say fancy cancels from the dealers. Sometimes the dealers have interesting cancellations in these boxes that include city postmarks, as well as target, manuscript, sock on the nose (or CDS), cork, duplex and other cancels. I just like to show my collection of these interesting cancels. I guess I misnamed the thread. I just acquired about 50-60 cancelled stamps with interesting cancels. Any help in where I should post these types of stamps would be appreciated. Thank you.

Ah, I get it. Dealer display advertising to catch the eye and curiosity. As for showing them, this is the right place I think. I was just thrown off by the title, since the term "fancy cancels" has a special meaning in this hobby. These are just cancels that caught your attention. I see.
