This appears to be a duplex cancellation on a 1904 Louisiana Purchase stamp, featuring Robert Livingston, Scott 323. Robert Livingston is depicted on the one cent stamp of this series of five stamps, because he negotiated the purchase of the Louisiana Purchase. He also worked with Robert Fulton on the invention of the steamboat.
