Here are two more George Washington, Scott number 65, issued in 1861-1862. The first stamp is a pen cancel, the second stamp shows a negative X cancellation.

ILS....the cancel on the #65 appears fake.
Remember....we are talking about the 1860s....
the cancellers were majority hand carved.
This looks like it came out of a rubber stamp set.

A duplex cancellation on a Thomas Jefferson stamp, Scott number 324, issued 1904. This stamp is part of the Louisiana Purchase series.

Here are two Parcel Post stamps, Scott number Q5, issued in 1913. The first one is a double target cancel, and the second stamp has a Lancaster, PA cancellation.

Here are four revenue stamps with manuscript cancels.

The first one is Scott R6c, with a cancellation date of December 16, 1864.



The second stamp is Scott R15c, with a cancellation date of December 3, 1866.



The next stamp is R24c, and has a cancellation date of August 6, 1868.



The last stamo is also R24c, with a cancellation date of May 25, 1866.

Here are three George Washington stamps with sock on the nose cancels.

The first one is Scott 26, issued 1851-1857, with a cancel date of April 24, 1860.



The second one is Scott number 11, issued 1851-1857, with a Baltimore, Md cancel date of June 16, 18??



The last one is Scott number 26, with a cancel date of Feb 1861. NOTE: The cancellation is backwards.

Here are two more Revenue stamps, Scott numbers R24c and R81c. The first one shows a cancellation date of March 10, 1870.



This one has a cancellation date of September 19, 1866.

ILS - the #65 with the patriotic orb/shield looks like it may be a fake. Is it yours? And the 24c cancel appears to be a circle of wedges.

Although not a "fancy" cancel this straight line Wisconsin cancel is interesting, almost the full town name on the stamp. And along side, is that really a "pointing hand" or just an interesting part of some other killer?
