Have you ever missed bidding on a lot that you found out about too late and hoped that a stamp dealer bought it so that the stamp dealer would be breaking it down and selling off parts of it?

How can one find out if a stamp dealer won a particular auction lot that the stamp dealer may be breaking down and offering parts of it for retail sale if one wants to buy something that may be in the lot?

How can one find out which stamp dealer bought the lot to contact the stamp dealer?

Most auctioneers respect the confidentiality of buyers. However, you can try contacting the auctioneer and leaving specifics about what you want and they might contact the new owner for you.

If it's ebay, try waiting for feedback to be left and track it down that way
