Ebay Aus.com

Australia ebay has had a major melt down.

Have not been able to list all day and night is approaching fast.

ebay forum is alive with others with the same problem.

No other ebay is affected.

It cost us $16.67 per day for our ebay store and will have no sales next Tuesday. No promise for tomorrow or any info accept seller post after ebay contact. All they are saying that ebay knows there is a problem.

ebay has been down for over 10hrs now!

Makes it hard at this time of year to cover costs from sales and things usually start to move next week as the past tells me!

This is KGV's wife. I've just spent 1/2 an hour on the phone with ebay & it seems clearing your history & cookies will fix the problem. The ebay lady is nice enough to talk you through the process if you don't know how to do this. Firefox has a drop down box in the left hand corner marked firefox. When it opens there is a history tab on the RH side which will take you to your clear history menu. Once your history is cleared close your windows & reopen in a new tab. Problem should be solved though apparently for some people it is still taking a few days to completely fix.

The cache and cookies do do it. Good to know. Think they would have said something. Google had a similar thing with no notice a while ago.

Glad things are rectified.

It was certainly very lonely this week with no listings on Tues & Wed because of ebay's melt down.

Friday Is my day off but listed a set of 107 stamps: 2006 Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist Australia to make up some lost ground.

I am glad my sellers will cut me some slack at present as I am spending a whole lot more than what is in coming. But things will change for the better soon.
