I don't need to replace mine yet, but they are extremely reasonable, and well worth it if you have any interest in Canadian philately. |

I got a new unopened 2011 Unitrade Canada catalog at a stamp show for $5.00 CDN only. Since I am not interested in new issues, a new catalog that is a few years old is fine. |

Quote: Since I am not interested in new issues, a new catalog that is a few years old is fine. I totally agree. However, over the past 10 years, the editors of Unitrade have done a fantastic job of adding new varieties, better descriptions, photos, and fixing mistakes from previous versions that, even without the inclusion of the latest issued stamps, the catalogue is growing in size and quality every year! Wrap your mind around this ... for $35, you get over 700 color pages. That's less than $.05 per page. You couldn't print your own pages for that price! Brian |

You convinced me. I purchased one as I find that the Scott's catalog is woefully inadequate for Canada. Thanks for posting the link. |

Yes. Unitrade licences the Scott catalogue numbers. Additionally, Unitrade include varieties that you will not find in the Scott catalogue. A 10 year old Unitrade would serve the Canada specialist better than a brand new Scott catalogue! |

Not to be a shill.....but, www.fvhstamps.com has them for C$33.95 + shipping. They usually use stamps for postage which can be returned for 50% credit on later purchases. |

I usually buy a Unitrade every year when I go to a fall show, shortly after its release. It has a list price of $43.95 (49.67 after tax in Ontario), which is what Unitrade sells it for at shows when they are present. It's also the same price they've had for a few years, despite the growth and improvements.
Dealers at the same shows will sell it for about $38-40, taxes included, but they don't advertise it - you have to ask, since Unitrade apparently doesn't like being undersold. (And in asking, you might even get a better price.)
I must admit my surprise when I was at Chicagopex a few months ago and picked up the new one for $35 (the dollar was close to par when I bought mine) - cheaper than I've ever been able to get it in Canada, even though it's produced and printed here. Frustrating, actually, but as Canadians, we're used to price disparity between us and the US for the same products (and it's why Buffalo has such a strong economy). |
