The perforations look normal to me. Perhaps you want to know if the stamp has added value with the upper margin attached?

The Scott number is 029.

Michel Spezial lists only one perforation, 13 X 12 1/2.

The number in the selvage (margin) was used for inventory/accounting purposes. It may be interesting but adds no value to the stamp.

The stamp appears to be a CTO. It is a neat corner cancel and it looks like it might be "Schwerin (Meckl) 1 ag." This is a cancellation applied to reprints/CTOs.

The value of the stamp was covered in previous posts.

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.

Many (or most) German sheet stamps had values printed across the top row of selvage stating what that column of stamps is worth, ascending by row. I'll explain a bit further. I've never seen a full sheet of this particular stamp, but my guess is that there were 100 stamps to a sheet, 10 rows x 10 columns. The top row, farthest left likely read "DM 1.00" the second row "DM 2.00" the third row "DM 3.00" etc. There may have been more than one reason for doing that, but it was certainly helpful to postal clerks. If someone wanted, for example, 4 Deutsche Marks worth of stamps, the clerk knew to give the customer 4 columns of stamps. Or, alternatively, if someone wanted 10 or 20 stamps, etc, the clerk could see at a glance how much to charge. This undoubtedly came in handy for clerks if dealing with odd denominations, although they probably didn't need it too much for the 10pf denomination. Your stamp therefore likely came from the top row, 4th column on a sheet. And, as others have said, doesn't make a bit of difference in the value of this stamp, which is extremely common.
