New Caledonia #1 is a forgery. Genuine stamps (all 50 types, since they were all different in the 50 positions on the sheet) all have periods after 10 in the value tablet.
The Modena stamp may be genuine, but I tend to think not. I base this on points from two sources. It seems to fail 2 of 15 of the hallmarks for a genuine stamp according to the book by Frank Aretz but seems to fail a couple more points according to the work of Schloss. The diameter of the smaller inner circle should be 11mm and the stamp design 20.5 x 20.5 mm, although meeting these alone will not suffice, but it could rule it out.
There was a second printing on white paper (vs yellowish white or gray) with vertical guidelines between stamps that was never issued. The 2nd issue would have a break in outer circle below C in CENT. I don't think this is a 2nd issue.
I'm not an expert in these stamps, just comparing your image against other sources, so you may want other opinions or have it expertised if you think its genuine.
Hallo Valjean I compared your stamp with the indications mentioned in the book " Antichi Stati Italiani, Originali e Falsi" of Cerruti and Guido.Your Modena stamp is an original one.
